Globelink UM24 proudly presented by Endurance Nature and title sponsorship by Globelink Container Line (M) Sdn Bhd in 2015.

The event was first dated on 24th and 25th Oct, 2015. However, due to haze situation in Klang area, the event was postponed to 12th and 13th Dec’2015 and held in Stadium Jugra, Banting, Klang.

Since the postponement of UM24 to 12th Dec 2015, there have been some withdrawals, understandably, due to other prior commitments. There have also some new registrations as well especially in the 24hrs category.

The event are honoured as we have the top runner from Taiwan, Mr. Wu Sheng Ming to join UM24 on 12th Dec 2015. He is the President of Chinese Taipei Ultra Runners Association, Wu is also the first generation of ultra runners in Taiwan. His impressive credential speaks for itself: the current record holder of most finishes in Spartathlon: 5 times!!  

Besides, there’s also runners from United States, Singapore and Malaysia (KL, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kedah, Pahang and Johor). There was an introduction of individual runner (with photo) being posted in Facebook page by the organiser during the countdown on the event.

There is total 48 participants joining the event in 2015.

24 hours – 23 runners
12 hours – 9 runners
6 hours – 16 runners

Race Concept

This is a 24 hours run around 400m track in UM Arena in University of Malaya. (Limit to 40 runners) There will also be 2x 12 hours run (80 runners in total) and 4x 6 hours run (4x 40 = Limit to 160 runners in total).
